DSAA Pot Luck Picnic

Thank you to everyone who attended the DSAA Pot Luck Picnic on August 20th 2016.  It was a georgeous night for a picnic, but not such a great night for swimming.  It was however, the last night that Star City Shores was open for swimming and the last O.N.E Coalition Swim Night of the summer, and a few brave souls did indeed brave the water and the 70 degree temperatures.  


​We had a huge assortment of gluten free options at the picnic and a special table to hold them all.  It is estimated that as many as  1/3 of individuals with Down syndrome also have Celiac Disease.  We were happy to provide a separate area for those who brought gluen free options, and hope that everyone enjoyed trying some new dishes.
