Thank you to our Volunteers

Happy Down Syndrome Awareness Month, Day 4! DSAA NE is a 100% volunteer run organization.  What that means for our families is that donations can go directly to work to provide, awareness and education.  But what it also means is that we owe a great deal of thanks to the men and women who work tirelessly at their paid job to provide support and resources for their own families, but still have time to reach out and share their knowledge, time, energy and resources with other families in the community.  We would not be able to  work toward our mission, without the hard work of our Board.  We thank Deb Safarik, Angie Willey, Shauna Graham, Randy Willey, Suzanne McDonald, Kiffany Conner and Beth Cole for all the work that they do. We would like to also thank all the other volunteers who work hard to put on and attend events, share posts, advocate and work for the good of the community. Many of these volunteers sacrifice a great deal to make Down syndrome advocacy a priority in their lives.  We would not be where we are today without their help, hard work and determination.  We as a community thank our volunteers for their passion, dedication, and service over the years.
There is always room for growth, if you would like to work on a committee to help DSAA NE extend its reach, host events, manage membership, advertise, fund raise, or any other area of strength you might have, please let us know. There will always be room for those who wish to share their passion and love for individuals with Down syndrome to benefit the greater community.  #DSAM2020 #DSAANE
