The Lucky Few

1/29/2018

There is a movement going through the Down syndrome community right now called the Lucky Few Tattoo movement.  Parents of children with Down syndrome are getting matching tattoos with 3 arrows.  The design means so many things to so many of #theluckyfew. Three, for that third extra magic 21st chromosome and the arrows are the perfect symbol because you can’t move forward without first being pulled back and stretched.

This design is a great conversation starter.  However, we understand and can related to parents who want to be part of the movement, but are not really comfortable with the thought of getting a tattoo.  This year we have included the Lucy Few arrows on the Buddy Walk T-shirt.  Our walk is going to be held on St. Patrick's Day, and we are going to have so much fun walking and spreading awareness wearing this shirt.  Those who walk wearing a shirt will also be eligible to earn raffle tickets to win some awesome prizes.  Register by March 2nd to be ensure you get a shirt.

Unity is important in these days because this will make the work stronger and this will be the right asset that we should build. Let us work on it and never let anger dominate us, for there is a big effect that will lead our destiny to regret. I am sending this message to all of the people who can read this post. I will always pray and will always ask for that guidance from the Lord. I know that this effort will give me a great reward in the end.
